Applications
FFPE / Biobank samples: Cancer research
RiboCop rRNA depletion does not rely on enzymatic digestion (no RNase H), so avoids RNA fragmentation. CORALL RNA-Seq produces a fragmentation-free library prep and it's displacement/stop technology is suitable for any sample quality. This improves the analysis of challenging samples for cancer research and diagnosis.

CORALL x RiboCop in action
Figure A) highlights how the use of RiboCop alongside CORALL successfully retains high gene discovery rates in human liver RNA-derived FFPE samples when compared to fresh frozen (FF) samples. The number of detected genes is plotted against the total number of reads mapping uniquely to exons. B) Overlap of detected genes at normalized expression levels >5 CPM (for uniquely mapping reads).
