10X Tris-Phosphate-EDTA TPE Buffer

Tris-Phosphate-EDTA (TPE) is a commonly used buffer solution in molecular biology, especially for gel electrophoresis and gene expression studies. The purpose of TPE buffer is to solubilize DNA or RNA, while protecting it from degradation. This product is a 10X concentrated stock solution and should be diluted appropriately with distilled, deionized water or equivalent to its final working concentration. 10X Tris-Phosphate EDTA (TPE) consists of 0.9 M Tris-Phosphate, 0.02 M EDTA at a pH of 8.0.
