The epitope recognized by A300-962A maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human protein phosphatase 2 (formerly 2A), regulatory subunit A (PR 65), alpha isoform using the numbering given in entry NP_055040.2 (GeneID 5518). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human PPP2R1A by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PPP2R1A antibody A300-962A (lot A300-962A-2) used for IP at 3 µg per reaction. PPP2R1A was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PPP2R1A antibody A300-963A. For blotting immunoprecipitated PPP2R1A, A300-962A was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.
