Supplier:
Availability:

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to WRN immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A300-239A maps to a region between residues 1400 and the C-terminus (residue 1432) of human Werner Syndrome Helicase using the numbering given in SwissProt entry Q14191 (GeneID 7486).Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Applications:

WB, IP

Detection of human WRN by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (WCL; 100 µg for WB; one 10cm plate for IP/WB) from HEK293T cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-WRN antibody BL1309 (Cat. No. A300-239A) used at 0.1 µg/ml for WB. WRN was immunoprecipitated with BL1309 or rabbit anti-WRN antibody BL1308 (Cat. No. A300-238A) each used at 5 µg/10cm plate (+/- respective blocking peptide). Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of less than 10 seconds.
