L1 protein is a major capsid protein of HPV type 16. HPV 6 and 11 have been associated with relatively benign diseases such as genital warts but type 16 and 18 are strongly associated with cervical, vaginal and vulvar malignancies. Anti-Human Papilloma Virus Type 16 (HPV16) (MOUSE) Monoclonal Antibody was tested in IHC-P with positive control HPV type 16 infected cervix tissues. Cellular Localization: Nuclear. The user is advised to validate the use of the products with their tissue specimens prepared and handled in accordance with their laboratory practices.
