Precision oncology panels

AmoyDx specialise in molecular diagnostics and precision medicine, with a strong emphasis on developing diagnostic tools for cancer. Their product range features assays powered by PCR and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, designed to identify genetic mutations, biomarkers, and other molecular indicators essential for guiding targeted therapies in cancers such as breast, ovarian and non-small cell lung cancer.

NGS technology

AmoyDx HANDLE® (Halo-shape ANnealing an Defer-Ligation Enrichment) technology is a proprietary amplicon-based method for NGS library preparation, designed for efficiency with a cost-effective protocol that takes just five hours, including only one hour of hands-on time. This method enhances variant detection sensitivity by tagging each DNA molecule with unique molecular indexes (UMIs) at both ends, effectively eliminating library amplification and sequencing bias. Discover more about this innovative technology by downloading Amoy's NGS brochure.

PCR technology

ADx-ARMS® (Amplifed Refractory Mutation System) technology is a method for detecting gene mutations by utilising a specially designed primer for the mutation site. It takes advantage of DNA polymerase’s ability to distinguish between matched and mismatched bases at the 3’ end of a PCR primer. When the primer’s 3’ base perfectly aligns with the mutant template, amplification occurs efficiently, while a mismatch with the wild-type template significantly reduces amplification efficiency. This selective amplification ensures precise detection of mutated sequences, even in samples where the mutation is present in low abundance, making it ideal for highly accurate genetic analysis.

Super-ARMS® represents an advancement over traditional ARMS technology achieved through enhanced primer and probe design. Download the PCR brochure to learn more.
