EvaGreen DNA binding dye

EvaGreen® from Biotium is a high performance, stable, non-mutagenic, non-cytotoxic DNA binding dye, ideal for use in in quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and a range of other applications. This highly sensitive dye is superior to many other commercially available PCR and HRM dyes.

EvaGreen Raw Fluorescence

A comparison of the raw fluorescence signal from qPCR reactions performed with two EvaGreen master mixes (Forget-Me-Not™ EvaGreen and Fast EvaGreen) and QuantiNova® SYBR® Green.

EvaGreen Dye is less inhibitory to PCR than SYBR® Green, allowing you to use more dye, and thus achieve a stronger melt curve signal

1. Fast EvaGreen qPCR Master Mix
Fast Evagreen qPCR Master Mix is a PCR reagent suitable for qPCR using a fast cycling protocol. Combining the EvaGreen qPCR dye and the Cheetah™ Taq hotstart DNA polymerase, superior results are deivered when compared to other commercial master mixes.

2. Fast-Plus EvaGreen qPCR Master Mix
The Fast-Plus EvaGreen qPCR master mix is a ready-to-use hot-start mix for nucleic acid quantitation and melt curve analysis of PCR amplicons. Available in three formats containing different amounts of ROX reference dye for use in different PCR instruments.

3. Forget-Me-Not EvaGreen qPCR Master Mix
Forget-Me-Not EvaGreen qPCR Master Mixes are hot-start EvaGreen dye-based master mixes for use in real-time PCR applications and DNA melt curve analysis. Containing a low concentration of inert blue dye allowing you to easily see which wells contain the master  mix, the Forget-Me-Not EvaGreen qPCR Master Mixes can be used in place of any SYBR® Green dye-based master mixes.
