A polyphenolic flavonoid with diverse biological activities; inhibits AAPH-induced lipid peroxidation at 20 µM; inhibits COX-1 (IC50 = 1.4 µM); inhibits proliferation of MCF-7, T47D, and MDA-MB-231 cells (IC50s = 0.4, 0.1, and 9.3 pM, respectively); inhibits binding of estradiol to ER and PR in MCF-7 cells (IC50s = 22.2 and 38.3 pM, respectively)
