Product Description:
A β-adrenergic and 5-HT1A receptor antagonist (IC50s = 2.8 and 9.9 nM, respectively); inhibits isoprenaline-induced adenylate cyclase activity in guinea pig myocardial membranes (Ki = 2.4 nM); reduces basal renin activity and blood pressure in spontaneously hypertonic rats; decreases isolation-induced aggressive behavior in mice (ED50 = 56 µmol/kg) and reverses 8-hydroxy-DPAT- and TFMPP-induced reductions in aggression (ED50s = 8.1 and 2.1 µmol/kg, respectively)
