Product Description:
Cayman’s Prostaglandin E Metabolite (PGEM) assay converts downstream metabolites of PGE2, such as 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGE2 and 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGA2, to stable derivatives that can be easily quantified in a competitive ELISA format. This assay is the method of choice for analysis of samples, such as plasma, serum and urine, in which PGE2 has undergone extensive metabolism prior to collection. The assay has a range from 0.39-50 pg/ml and an average sensitivity (80% B/B0) of 2 pg/ml.
