A racemic version of a CYP450 metabolite of arachidonic acid; produced as two R/S enantiomers; plays a role in the recovery of depleted calcium pools in cultured smooth muscle cells; inhibits basolateral 18-pS potassium channels in the renal cortical collecting duct (100 nM); increases isolated peripheral blood leukocyte adhesion (50 µg/kg per day)
