Substrate for methionine aminopeptidases 1 and 2. For the latter enzyme, Km 0.67 ± 0.11 mM and kcat 9.5 ± 0.3 min-1 (pH 7.5, 30°C) were determined. Mitra et al. developed a direct colorimetric assay using Met-pNA for methionine aminopeptidases.
