A dual inhibitor of USP25 and USP28 (IC50s = 0.7 and 0.6 µM, respectively); selective for USP25 and USP28 over USP2a (IC50 = >100 µM), a panel of 22 other deubiquitinases at 10 µM, and a panel of eight caspases and cathepsins at 30 µM; induces degradation of c-Myc in HCT116 cells, an effect that can be reversed by MG132; decreases the viability of several cancer cell lines (EC50s = 9.8-33.5 µM)
