Product Description:
An inhibitor of the protein-protein interaction between c-Myc and Max; inhibits c-Myc and Max heterodimerization at 5 µM and the proliferation of Rat1 and TGR-1 rat fibroblasts but not TGR-1 Myc knockout fibroblasts at 32 µM; reduces the expression of the gene encoding ODC and induces cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase in Myc-overexpressing Rat1 cells at 32 µM; preincubation of 10074-A4 at 32 µM with Myc-overexpressing Rat1 cells in vitro reduces tumor growth of the same cells in a mouse xenograft model.
