Product Description:
An inhibitor of ELOVL1; inhibits LPC(C26:0) synthesis in HEK293 cells (IC50 = 400 pM) and is selective for ELOVL1 over ELOVL4, -6, and -7 (IC50s = >50 µM for all), as well as a panel of 34 receptors at 10 µM; reduces blood and CNS levels of LPC(C26:0) in an Abcd1-/- mouse model of ALD from 1-32 mg/kg
