A synthetic flavonoid with diverse biological activities; inhibits TNKS1 and TNKS2 (IC50s = 0.23 and 0.17 µM for the human enzymes, respectively); active against L. donovani, T. brucei, and T. cruzi (IC50s = 2, 1.1, and 10.1 µg/ml, respectively); induces apoptosis in and inhibits migration of GL15 cells at 50 µM; prevents LPS-induced increases in brain levels of COX-2 and iNOS in a mouse model of neuroinflammation at 5 mg/kg
