An NMDA receptor antagonist (IC50 = 0.008 µM); selective for NMDA receptors containing NR1A/NR2A subunits over NMDA receptors containing NR1A/NR2B subunits (IC50s = 0.27 and 29.6 µM, respectively); inhibits MES-induced seizures in mice (ED50 = 23 mg/kg); inhibits NPC proliferation in the SVZ and SGZ at 10 mg/kg; impairs spatial memory in the Morris water maze in mice
