ChIP-seq is a powerful NGS-based tool used to analyse the interactions between DNA and DNA-binding proteins (DBPs). Using the specific nature of chromatin immunoprecipitation, the method recovers DNA-protein complexes for the DNA in those complexes to be sequenced and the binding site of the proteins to be analysed. ChIP-seq can be used to compare binding sites in different cell types and tissues, or under different conditions, making it an important technique on the study of gene regulation and epigenetic mechanisms.
Zymo’s ChIP-seq services begin with a personalised project consultation and are customisable at any step of the workflow. With access to a team of scientists with over 20 years of epigenetic experience, all you need to do is submit your samples in the knowledge they are in expert hands.
