Signal Transduction Reagents

Signal transduction pathways regulate virtually every cellular process, from proliferation and differentiation to metabolism, immune activation and apoptosis. Understanding these pathways is essential for basic research, drug discovery and functional screening.

AAT Bioquest provides a comprehensive range of signal transduction reagents designed to detect, quantify and visualise key intracellular signalling molecules. These tools support a broad range of applications including fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, high-content screening, cell-based assays and plate reader workflows. AAT Bioquest's portfolio includes probes and assay reagents for cyclic nucleotides, GPCR signalling, nitric oxide, hydrogen sulphide, calcium mobilisation and innate immune signalling pathways.

Why researchers chose AAT Bioquest signal transduction reagents:

  Comprehensive signalling pathway coverage

  Optimised for multiple detection platforms

  High sensitivity and reproducibility

Suitable for drug discovery and translational research

Featured product categories

cGAMP probes and conjugates

2',3'-cGAMP is a key secondary messenger generated by cGAS following detection of cytosolic DNA. Activation of the cGAS-STING pathway initiates innate immune responses with important roles in infectious disease research, cancer immunology and therapeutic development.

cAMP signalling reagents

cAMP is one of the most widely studied intracellular secondary messengers, regulating multiple aspects of cellular physiology via protein kinase A (PKA) and related signalling pathways. AAT Bioquest cAMP signalling reagents are highly sensitive and compatible with hight-throughput screening techniques

Calcium signalling indicators

Calcium flux is a critical readout for numerous receptor-mediated signalling events.  AAT Bioquest’s Calibryte™ indicators bright fluorescence signal and improved cell retention makes it highly compatible with flow cytometry and imaging platforms for GPCR and ion channel studies.

Nitric oxide and hydrogen sulphide probes

Gasotransmitters play essential roles in cardiovascular biology, neuroscience, inflammation and cellular stress responses.   Available solutions include DAX-J2™ fluorescent probes for nitic oxide detection and Sulfide Green™ and WSP-1 probes for hydrogen sulphide detection.

β-Arrestin and GPCR signalling assays

Cell Meter™ β-Arrestin assay systems can characterise receptor activation and desensitisation during direct GPCR functional readouts, quantitative pathway analysis and drug discovery ready workflows.

translocation of beta-arrestin   Figure 3: Translocation of beta-arrestin in HeLa Cells were transiently transfected with beta-arrestin-GFP and vasopressin receptor 2 (V2R).  HeLA cells were cultured in a 6-well plate and grown to 60% confluency.  Images were taken before and two hours after vasopressin treatment.
