A CDK4 and CaMKII inhibitor (IC50s = 140 and 25 nM, respectively); selective for CDK4 and CaMKII over PKA and PKC (IC50s = >2 and >100 µM, respectively); inhibits replication of HCMV in vitro (IC50 = 200 nM); inhibits proliferation of HCT116 and NCI H460 carcinoma cells in vitro (IC50s = 850 and 590 nM, respectively); inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of ECSCs
