Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to APEH/AARE immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A304-808A-M maps to a region between residue 150 to 200 of human Acylamino-acid-releasing enzyme using the numbering given in entry P13798.4 (GeneID 327). Antibody concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human and mouse APEH/AARE by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, mouse TCMK-1, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-APEH/AARE antibody A304-808A-M (lot A304-808A-M-1) used for WB at 1:1000. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.
