Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TBC1D9/MDR1 immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A301-027A maps to a region between residue 250 and 300 of human TBC1 domain family, member 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_055945.1 (GeneID 23158). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human TBC1D9 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HEK293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TBC1D9 antibody A301-027A (lot A301-027A-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. TBC1D9 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-TBC1D9 antibody A301-028A. For blotting immunoprecipitated TBC1D9, A301-028A was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.
