Availability:

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MYPT1 immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A300-889A maps to a region between residues 800 and 850 of human Myosin Phosphatase Target Subunit 1 (Protein Phosphatase 1, Regulatory Subunit 12A) using the numbering given in entry NP_002471.1 (GeneID 4659).Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human MYPT1 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and HEK293T (T; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MYPT1 antibody A300-889A used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate (B). MYPT1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MYPT1 antibodies A300-888A and BL3865, which recognize upstream epitopes. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 10 seconds (B).
