Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RAP80 immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A300-763A maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human Receptor Associated Protein 80 using the numbering given in entry NP_057374.3 (GeneID 51720). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human RAP80 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), HEK293T (T; 50 µg) and Jurkat (J; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RAP80 antibody A300-763A (A300-763A-2) used for WB at 0.1 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. RAP80 was also immunoprecipitated using a previous lot (A300-763A-1) of this antibody and by rabbit anti-RAP80 antibody A300-764A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A) and 30 seconds (B).
