The epitope recognized by A300-170A maps to a region between residues 250 and 300 of human Parafibromin using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q6P1J9 (GeneID 79577). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human and mouse Para fibromin by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from mouse TCMK-1 and human HEK293T cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Parafibromin antibody A300-170A (lot A300-170A-2) used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.
Detection of human Parafibromin by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) from HEK293T cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Parafibromin antibody A300-170A (lot A300-170A-2) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. For blotting immunoprecipitated Parafibromin, A300-170A was used at 0.04 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.
