Product Description:
A PDMP mixture containing D-erythro (1S,2R) PDMP and L-erythro (1R,2S) PDMP; protects GlcCer synthase from degradation and increases ceramide levels in MDCK cells at 40 µM; inhibits UDP galactose:ceramide galactosyltransferase by 27% in mouse brain microsomes at 100 µM; inhibits the growth of isolated rabbit skin fibroblasts at 50 µM but is cytotoxic at >50 µM
