This product is prepared by labeling high quality goat anti-mouse IgG (H+L) with CF®640R dye. CF® dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF®640R dye has excitation/emission at 642/662 nm.

Relative photostability of CF640R and AlexaFluor 647. HeLa cells were stained with b-tubulin conjugates of CF640R or AlexaFluor 647. Cells were continuously illuminated by a mercury arc lamp microscope equipped with a Cy5 filter set and CCD camera . Images were captured at 0 minutes, 1 minute, and 3 minutes.
