An NSAID and COX inhibitor; inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 in COS-1 cells expressing the human enzymes (IC50s = 4.8 and 28.4 µM, respectively); inhibits TXB2 and PGE2 production ex vivo in isolated rat blood (IC50s = 5 and 13 µM, respectively)
