A metabolite of dopamine; decreases the viability of SH-SY5Y cells at 200 µM; induces tachycardia and increases blood pressure in normotensive or DOCA-salt hypertensive rats at 1 mg/kg; induces tremors and rigidity in mice at 100 mg/kg
