Product Description:
A prodrug form of cidofovir; inhibits CMV, HSV-1, HSV-2, cowpox, and vaccinia virus replication in plaque reduction assays (EC50s = 0.0009, 0.06, 0.08, 0.6, and ~1 µM, respectively); decreases mortality in mouse models of cowpox or vaccinia virus infections at 6.7 or 5 mg/kg, respectively
