An active metabolite of estrone; inhibits proliferation of isolated bovine brain-derived capillary endothelial cells (IC50 = 11.5 µM); increases levels of 6-keto PGF1α in HUVECs at 0.001, 0.01, and 0.1 µM; reduces ovariectomy-induced increases in serum cholesterol in rats at 0.5 mg/kg
