A flavonoid with diverse biological activities; inhibits sPLA2 (IC50 = 17.6 µM); decreases protein levels of Akt and induces apoptosis in NCI H460 NSCLC cells at 12.5, 25, and 50 µM; scavenges DPPH radicals and superoxide anions in cell-free assays at 200 µg/ml; reduces TPA-induced ear edema and carrageenan-induced paw edema in mice at 150 mg/kg
