SpectraComp compensation controls from Slingshot Biosciences are synthetic cells that mimic the optical and autofluorescence profile of lymphocytes for spectral flow cytometry analysis. Compatible with violet and UV fluorochromes, SpectraComp provides unparalleled fluorescence response and conveniently works with multiple antibody species, including mouse, rat and hamster.
HyParComp compensation controls are hydrogels designed to optimise compensation results, reduce spectral overlap associated errors, and match the single staining performance of real cells for conventional flow cytometry. Staining HyParComp yields a positive fluorescence histogram aiding in resolving the performance of the fluorophore. HyParComp also works with multiple antibody species, including mouse, rat and hamster.
Benefits of using SpectraComp
• Provides precise, reliable and repeatable results
• High stability with multi-year shelf life
• No complex sample preparation required
• Accurate spectral unmixing for spectral analysis
• Easier experimental set up with less compensation analysis
Benefits of using HyParComp
• Unparalleled high fluorescence response
• Compatible with multiple antibody host species
• Cell-like autofluorescence for superior signal-to-noise resolution
• Compatible with UV fluorochrome, violet and tandem dyes
• Reduce errors associated with spectral overlap
SpectraComp mimics the autofluorescence profile of real cells
Complete spectral signature comparison with signatures of SpectraComp used that indicated fluorophores matched those of single stained leukocytes.
SpectraComp outperforms the competitor with violet dyes
SpectraComp beads achieve cleaner seperation of positive and negative populations when used in conjunction with violet dyes such as BV510. (Left) Cells, (middle) SpectraComp, (Right) Competitor.
QC data demonstrating HyParComp performance levels
Complete (A) Gate the HyParComp population from the negative sample. (B) Place a gate on the negative histogram for the fluorophore of interest from the negative sample. (C) Gate the HyParComp population from a positive single-stain control sample. (D) Place a gate on the positive histogram for the fluorophore of interest from the positive single-stain control sample.
