Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RBM25/RED120 immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A301-067A maps to a region between residue 150 and 200 of human RNA binding motif protein 25 (Arg/Glu/Asp-rich protein, 120 kDa) using the numbering given in entry AAF19255.1 (GeneID 58517). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human RBM25/RED120 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RBM25/RED120 antibody A301-067A used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml (A) and 0.1 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. RBM25/RED120 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-RBM25/RED120 antibodies A301-068A and BL4629, which recognize downstream epitopes. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 seconds (A and B).
