Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SNF2h/ISWI immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A301-018A maps to a region between residue 1002 and the C-terminus (residue 1052) of human Sucrose nonfermenting protein 2 homolog (SWI/SNF related, matrix associated, actin dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily a, member 5) using the numbering given in entry NP_003592.2 (GeneID 8467). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human SNF2h/ISWI by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SNF2h/ISWI antibody A301-018A used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. SNF2h/ISWI was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SNF2h/ISWI antibodies A301-017A and BL4495, which recognize upstream epitopes. For blotting immunoprecipitated SNF2h/ISWI, A301-017A was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.
