Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SNF2h/ISWI immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A301-017A maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human Sucrose nonfermenting protein 2 homolog (SWI/SNF related, matrix associated, actin dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily a, member 5) using the numbering given in entry NP_003592.2 (GeneID 8467). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human SNF2h/ISWI by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SNF2h/ISWI antibody A301-017A used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. SNF2h/ISWI was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SNF2h/ISWI antibodies BL4495 and A301-018A, which recognize downstream epitopes. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A) and 10 seconds (B).
