Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DDX28 immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A300-762A maps to a region between residue 500 and the C-terminus (residue 540) of human DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) Box Polypeptide 28 using the numbering given in entry NP_060850.1 (GeneID 55794). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human DDX28 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and HEK293T (T; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DDX28 antibody A300-762A (lot A300-762A-1) used for WB at 0.4 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate (B). DDX28 was also immunoprecipitated using rabbit anti-DDX28 antibody BL3236 at 3 µg/mg lysate. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 3 minutes (B).
