Product Description:

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to hnRNP-K immobilized on solid support.The epitope recognized by A300-675A maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein K using the numbering given in entries NP_002131.2 for hnRNP-K isoform a and NP_112552.1 for hnRNP-K isoform b (GeneID 3190).Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of human and mouse hnRNP-K by western blot (h and m) and immunoprecipitation (h). Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), HEK293T (T; 50 µg) and mouse NIH 3T3 (M; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-hnRNP-K antibody BL3184 (Cat. No. A300-675A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B), and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. immunoprecipitation reactions were also performed using antibodies BL3183 (Cat. No. A300-674A), BL3185 (Cat. No. A300-676A), BL3186 (Cat. No. A300-677A) and BL3187 (Cat. No. A300-678A). Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 10 seconds (A and B).
