Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MST2(STK3) immobilized on solid support. The epitope recognized by A300-467A maps to a region between residues 400 and 450 of human Mammalian Sterile 20-like 2 (Serine/Threonine Kinase 3) using the numbering given in Swiss Prot entry Q13188 (GeneID 6788). Immunoglobulin concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: absorbance at 280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.

Detection of MST1 and MST2 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: A) Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg), Ramos (R, 50 µg) and mouse NIH 3T3 (M, 50 µg) cells. B) Whole cell lysate (1 mg/IP reaction; 1/4 of reaction loaded/gel) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MST2 antibody A300-467A used at 1 µg/ml for WB (A and B) and 3 µg/mg lysate for IP. MST1 and MST2 were simultaneously immunoprecipitated using MST1/2 antibodies A300-466A and A300-468A. MST1 was immunoprecipitated using MST1 antibody A300-465A. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 (A) and 3 (B) seconds. A300-467A is specific for MST2 and A300-465A is specific for MST1 as determined by reciprocal IP/WB.
