Detection of human STAT5b by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), HEK293T (T; 50 µg) and Jurkat (J; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-STAT5b antibody A303-495A used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B, upper panel) and used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. STAT5b was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-STAT5a/STAT5b antibody BL12467, which recognizes an upstream epitope. STAT5a was immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-STAT5a/STAT5b antibody BL12467 and by rabbit anti-STAT5b antibody A303-494A, which was also used to blot STAT5a (B, lower panel). Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 10 seconds (B).
