Product Description:
Ertapenem is a carbapenem broad spectrum antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It binds to the penicillin binding proteins (PBPs) and has high affinity for PBPs 2 and 3. It shows MIC₉₀ values <1 mg/L for most species of Enterobacteriaceae.
