Physiologically Relevant Cell Culture - Avatar™

Cambridge Bioscience offers the first cell culture system capable of reproducing the physiologically relevant conditions of hydrostatic pressure and low oxygen required to mimic the in vivo environment specific to a sample type. By specifically controlling O2, CO2, hydrostatic pressure, temperature and humidity to recreate the native conditions of a sample, the Avatar cultures samples in an environment best suited to delivering biologically relevant results. These revolutionary capabilities enable the system to culture previously unculturable samples and for the first time provide reliable results with samples cultured using Avatar exhibiting near-native morphology and gene expression.
