The Neurosight-S® from Nexel are a highly pure and electrophysiologically active population of cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). Composed mainly of glutamatergic neurons (the major excitatory neurons in the brain), these novel cells provide a more accurate, scalable and reproducible alternative to rodent primary cell cultures and animal models.
