Cardiomyocytes from hiPSCs: Cardiosight-S

The Cardiosight-S® from Nexel are pure, electrophysiologically active populations of cardiomyocytes derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs).  Providing more reliable cardiac toxicity screening, the novel cells can be cultured more consistently than primary cells enabling improved human cardiotoxicity predictions compared to models using animal-derived cells.
