Ready-To-Use NGS Panels - CleanPlex®

Ready-To-Use NGS Panels - CleanPlex®

Cambridge Bioscience offers easy-to-use and high quality NGS panels for cost-effective, targeted sequencing. Combining superior primer design and innovative library preparation chemistry, the CleanPlex® NGS panels provide multiplexing for up to 20,000 amplicons with low input requirements and a single tube workflow.

Benefits Of Using The CleanPlex Ready-To-Use NGS Panels
• Compatible with Illumina® & Ion Torrent™ sequencing platforms
• As little as 100 pg of DNA for germline genotyping
• 1% limit of detection using just 10 ng of DNA
• High coverage uniformity & on-target rate resulting in cost-effective sequencing
• 3-step, single-tube workflow in 2.5 hours
• Multiplex up to 20,000 amplicons
• Custom panels available

CleanPlex Technology
The proprietary CleanPlex technology uses multiplex PCR background cleaning chemistry to effectively remove non-specific PCR products, giving best-in-class performance and efficient use of sequencing reads.

CleanPlex® background cleaning chemistry

The CleanPlex chemistry involves 3 simple steps and employs a single-tube protocol that can be completed in 2.5 hours. In step 1, targets are amplified in a multiplex PCR reaction, followed by ”with bead” purification using magnetic beads. In step 2. primer-dimers, non-specific PCR products, and complex molecular-debris are biochemically removed, followed by “with bead” purification using magnetic beads. In step 3, sequencer-specific adapter sequences are added to complete the library structure, followed by “with bead” purification using magnetic beads. Final libraries are pooled for sequencing.

CleanPlex® Background Cleaning

Non-specific PCR products and primer-dimers are biochemically removed using the proprietary CleanPlex digestion chemistry. This ensures that only DNA sequences of interest are converted into NGS library molecules, resulting in highly efficient use of sequencing reads

CleanPlex Multiplex PCR-Based Target Enrichment Workflow

CleanPlex® multiplex PCR-based target enrichment workflow

CleanPlex ready-to-use & custom NGS panels allow high-quality target-enriched NGS libraries to be easily & quickly prepared for sequencing.

Custom Panels Available
Build a custom CleanPlex NGS panel to multiplex >20,000 amplicons in each reaction and take advantage of CleanPlex’s high sensitivity, rapid single-tube workflow and cost-effective sequencing. All custom NGS panels contain all reagents necessary to construct target-enriched NGS libraries from input DNA, including CleanMag™ Beads and your choice of Illumina® or Ion Torrent™ index primers.
