Protein screening & expression profiling antibody arrays
RayBiotech's highly sensitive C-Series antibody arrays allow screening and comparison of expression levels of many cytokines, growth factors, proteases, soluble receptors and other proteins in a wide variety of sample types.
Benefits of using the C-series membrane-based antibody arrays
• Detection from 10 to 274 proteins simultaneously
• Detection as low as 1 pg/ml for some proteins
• High specificity using sandwich antibody pair
• Easy to use • Results obtained in one day
• Compatible with any chemiluminescent imaging system
• A detectable range as high as 4 orders of magnitude (104) for some proteins
• Interarray CV of spot signal intensities as low as 5 percent
C-series arrays sandwich immunoassay principle
Panel of capture antibodies is printed on a nitrocellulose membrane solid support (~ 2.5 cm x 3 cm). Array membranes are processed similarly to a Western blot (chemiluminescent readout). Signals are then visualized on x-ray film or a digital image, allowing densitometry data collection and calculation of fold-changes for each detected protein.

Benefits of using G-series glass slide-based antibody arrays
• From 10 µl of original sample required per array
• Sensitivities of pg/mL to ng/mL levels
• High throughput compatible
• Custom array options
• Greater detection range compared to typical ELISA
• Compatible with many automated array processing systems
G-series arrays sandwich immunoassay principle
Capture antibodies are printed in multiple identical arrays on a standard-sized histology slide. After a blocking step, samples are incubated with the arrays. Nonspecific proteins are then washed off, and the arrays are incubated with a cocktail of biotinylated detection antibodies, followed by a streptavidin-conjugated fluor. Signals are visualized using a fluorescence laser scanner.
