The Orangu™ Cell Couting Solution from Cell Guidance Systems is a non-cytotoxic, highly sensitive assay for cell viability determination in cell proliferation and cytotoxicity assays. Using a highly water-soluble tetrazolium salt that is reduced by dehydrogenase activities in viable cells to give an orange-coloured formazan dye, the Orangu assay offers a simple and reliable process for determining viable cell number.
