CF™555: Bright & Photostable Dye

CF™555: Bright & Photostable Dye

Cambridge Bioscience offers an orange-red fluorescent dye spectrally similar dye to Cy™3 and Alexa Fluor®555 with greater brightness and photostability when compared to Cy™3. CF™555 dye achieves superior performance without being excessively charged.

CF™555 Technical Details
• 555/565 nm Abs/Em maxima
• 150,000 extinction coefficient
•  ~ 901 molecular weight
• 532 nm or 568 nm excitation laser line
• Direct replacement for Alexa Fluor®555, ATTO550, Cy™3, DyLight®549 & Rhodamine (TRITC)

CF555                 Absorption & emission spectra of CF™555 goat anti-mouse conjugate in PBS

Benefits Of Using CF™555
• Much brighter and more photostable than Cy®3
• Not excessively charged

Left: MCF-7 cells stained with rabbit anti-COXIV and CF555 goat anti-rabbit (mitochondria, red) and mouse anti-ZO1 and CF647 goat anti-mouse (tight junctions, green). Mounted in EverBrite Mounting Medium with DAPI (nuclei, blue). Right: Frozen section of rat testis stained with mouse anti-tubulin and CF488A goat anti-mouse (min x rat) (microtubules, green), CF555 Mix-n-Stain labeled mouse anti-ZO1 (tight junctions, red) and CF640R phalloidin (actin filaments, cyan).
