Fluorescein phalloidin

Fluorescein phalloidin stains F-actin with nanomolar affinity. The fluorescent probe is typically applied to fixed and permeabilized cells. Fluorescent phallotoxins can also be loaded into live cells via cationic liposomes.4 The green fluorescent fluorescein phalloidin was one of the earlier fluorescent phallotoxins developed and is still widely used for visualizing F-actin (Also see rhodamine 110 phallacidin for superior photostability, BT00029). Each vial contains sufficient probe for staining ~300 microscope slide preparations (300 U). abs\em (Ph8) = 496/ 516nm
