Cambridge Bioscience recognises the importance of identifying antisera, immunoglobulin fractions and monoclonal antibodies to a growing number of clinically relevant tissue antigens.

Cambridge Bioscience offers access to tissue cross reactivity testing and IHC screening services from the Tissue Supply Network. Utilising the IHC (immunohistochemistry) service, potential molecules of therapeutic importance have to be shown to be selective and not cross-react with non-specific antigens in human tissues before they can be submitted for filing with a medicine regulatory body. All IHC testing is performed in a dedicated laboratory with state-of-the- art facilities, certified to ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 13485:2003 +AC:2007 (European Standard Directives for Quality Assurance on medical devices and in vitro diagnostic services) standards. This lab has several years of expertise in tissue cross-reactivity testing and will be able to interpret results in a meaningful way.
